tus hilda; Con desgastes o en mezclilla cruda ??

La mayoria de las prendas de hilda55 se envian a las tiendas sin desgastes por varias razones;

1.La primera y mas importante es para afectar lo menos posible al medio ambiente con los procesos de desgaste.

2.Para que la prenda dure mas, pues al desgastarla industrialmente pierde cuerpo la tela y se deteriora mucho mas rapido.

3. Al adquirir tus prendas sin desgastes industriales , tus jeans con el tiempo iran reflejando tu estilo de vida, osea van a ir adquiriendo las cicatrices y marcas del uso que les des. Por ejemplo se le iran marcando los "bigotes" entre los muslos cuando uno se sienta, la cartera se va marcando atraz o enfrente, el asiento de tu bici se ira dejando huella en tu trasero y si patinas con ellos pues tendras marcados los recuerdos que te ha dejado la calle o el skatepark. Esto no tiene precio y es imposible lograr sin el uso diario.

Pero si lo que te gusta es que tus prendas de mezclilla se vean todas madreadas desde nuevas, pues puedes personalizarlas.

Solo tienes que conseguir lija para madera o fierro, da igual. (pide en una ferreteria del grosor 120, 220 y 400, con una hoja de cada una te alcaza y sobra) , un "cutter" o cuchillo , un poco de cloro y un poco de pasto de jardin para teñir en algunas partes la prenda y darle un look de sucio.

-Primero deshaces la bastilla y desdoblas la tela , despues la doblas hacia arriba o cortala. Siempre una pulgada y media mas de lo que tu crees que esta bien. (es comun que se le corte de mas y queda corto o encoja)

-Empieza con el cutter o cuchillo a raspar las partes mas grusas del jean como las presillas , el filo de las bolsas, los laterales de la prenda y sobre algunas partes de la pretina. Es importante que raspes con el cutter o cuchillo de "ladito" porque solo queremos desgastar sin cortar la tela.

-Luego empiezas a lijar la tela con la lija mas gruesa en algunas partes como la parte de tela que cubre el "cierre", en el trasero , en la parte frontal sobre los muslos. No te emociones y le des muy fuerte ni por mucho tiempo, este lijado lo tienes que hacer "poquito", digamos solo unas 20 a 30 lijadas. ( observa como se va desgastando para que no te vayas a pasar y le hagas un hoyo)

-Luego sigues lijando con la siguiente lija osea la No.220 para afinar el detalle y prosigues con la No. 400 que es la que le da el acabado final al lijado.

(cuando lijas la tela, esta se va adelgazando y tambien vas quitando el teñido de indigo y se empieza a ver mas clara la tela)

- Si todavia quieres mas clara tu prenda, usa un poco de cloro, recomiendo que diluyas un poco en agua y lo atomices sobre la prenda, de igual manera puedes aplicar algunas gotas sin diluir sobre algunas partes de la prenda. (ten cuidado al manejar el cloro porque si te cae en la ropa te la va a decolorar y no hay reversa, usa unos guantes tambien porque la piel absorbe todo)

-Despues enjuaga tu prenda y dejala secar.

-Ya seca la prenda, toma algo de zacate del jardin y licualo con algo de agua. Esta solucion aplicala con una brocha sobre la tela en las partes que tu quieras y le dara un "look Dirty"

-No te limites y usa tu imaginacion para darle ese acabado personal, consigue un gato con uñas filosas que le den ese toque especial o puedes arrastrar la prenda en la calle, tu dices.....

*Todos los procesos anteriores deben de hacerse poco a poco y con paciencia porque en pocos segundos puedes romper donde no quieres.

*NO LIJES SOBRE LAS COSTURAS pues puedes descoser la prenda.

*Una vez customizada tu prenda, lavala lo menos posible , usa bactericida textil y ambiental marca KEPLER para matar las bacterias que provocan el mal olor.

En un principio este producto se diseno solo para aplicarlo sobre los jeans hilda55 y asi evitar el lavado regular pues KEPLER mata las bacterias que producen el mal olor en los textiles, pero los Atributos de estos aceites van mas alla de ser bactericidas, estos tienen un efecto espectorante, desinflamatorio, relajante y refrescante , con estos atributos reunidos en un solo producto hace que este tenga varios usos, por ejemplo; Inhibe los contagios por virus y bacterias y cambia el humor de un espacio de convivencia refrescando a las personas, pues el eucalipto que contiene desinfecta y desinflama las vias respiratorias al mismo tiempo que da una sensacion refrescante, es relajante por las cualidades de la Lavanda , por lo que aplicarlo en la cama antes de dormir es muy recomendado para un descanso profundo. El 9 de Abril en la Galeria "El taller mecanico" en monterrey se presento la premiere "Rumors the movie" ; un documental realizado por Mark Kronemeyer y Alistair Calderon por las Playas de Mexico con algunos de los mejores surfers mexicanos y del mundo.

Este documental les tomo dos anios para realizarlo pero el esfuerzo valio la pena. Grabado totalmente en Alta Definicion. La proyeccion se llevo a cabo con un proyector de 5000 lumenes y en una pantalla inflable de 10 x 7 mtos; Eyecandy total!

A esta premiere asistieron 320 personas y fue presentada por hilda55, Monster, Corona, Jack Daniels, Long Hard Ride y Loaded Longboards.

Despues de la premiere hubo un coctel con bebidas de Monster, Corona y Jack Daniels , la musica corrio por cuenta de Conjunto Musical Costa Bella (Aldo Carrizales) y los visuales por VJ Thai (roxana barraza)

tips for customizing your jeans.....

One way to custom design your jeans is to bleach them:

There are two ways you can do this. Be sure to put on protective plastic gloves before working with bleach.

Way 1-Fill a bucket with water and add two cups of bleach to it. Be careful not to spill! Then take a sponge and dip it into the water with bleach mix. Squeeze it to release extra water and then wipe the creases of your jeans with it. Repeat this until you get the desired effect.

Way 2- The second way to bleach your jeans is with a toothbrush. Dip the toothbrush in the water/bleach bucket and then spritz your jeans with it. You can replace the toothbrush with an actual spritzer bottle if you want a more even tone.

Another way to customize your jeans is sandpaper them:

Step 1-Put the jeans on. You will achieve the most natural looking finish on your jeans if you wear them as you use the sandpaper to distress them.

Step 2-Decide where you want to distress your jeans. The best finish will be achieved by distressing the places on your jeans that would normally show signs of wear. These places include the knees, the back pockets, the bottom hems and the belt loops.

Step 3-Fold the sandpaper to make it easier to hold. Rub the sandpaper gently over each area you want to distress. Continue rubbing the sandpaper back and forth until the jeans begin to look worn. Be careful not to over-distress them which will cause a hole to form in the fabric. (However, if your goal is to create a hole, then continue rubbing the sandpaper on the jeans until a hole forms.)
Step 4-Take the jeans off and wash them before wearing.

The collaboration was born out of a conversation between Pedro Tarno of hilda55 and Amanda Watkins about a box of past season t-shirts and a shared ecological and economical outlook.

Amanda Watkins who is currently residing in mexico but trained in London at the Royal college of Art, used the technique of customization as part of her work for her collections, came up with some suggestions as to how they could be changed and customized to present a new and cool image, totally green in concept.
